Partyka, 96, of Lodi Street, Forestville, passed away Monday, December 4th, 2023 at Brooks Memorial Hospital, Dunkirk, comfortably in the presence of her family.&nbsp; She was born in the former Village of Forestville on October 7, 1927, the daughter of the late Albion and Beatrice (Church) White.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; She was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1946 and worked as a Certified Nurses Aide for the former JN Adam Developmental Center, Perrysburg, for 20 years retiring in the 1980&#8217;s. Pauline previously worked as a Dietary Aide for Pine Valley Central School and raised strawberries having a roadside stand at Balcom&#8217;s Corners.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; She traveled to Egypt, China and Israel with her late husband in the early 1980&#8217;s.&nbsp; Pauline enjoyed quilting, doing puzzles and researching family history.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann Bittner, of Westfield; four sons Joseph Partyka, of Forestville; John Partyka, of Crossville, TN; Michael Partyka, of Forestville; James Partyka, of Forestville; three sisters, Marjorie Pazda, of Forestville; Dorothy&nbsp; Snock, of Silver Creek; Barbara Schulenberg, of Dunkirk; and a brother, Nelson White, of Friendswood, TX.&nbsp; Also surviving are twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and several nieces &amp; nephews.&nbsp; Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband John A. Partyka, whom she married in 1948 and who died May 16, 1985, a sister Caroline Woodward and a great grandson Aiden Partyka.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; Friends are welcome to call at Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Friday morning from 11 AM to 1 PM, from where Funeral Services will follow at 1 PM, with Rev. David Watson, pastor of the Sheridan United Methodist Church, officiating.&nbsp; Private Interment will be in Villenova Cemetery, Town of Villenova.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; The family suggests memorials may be made to Forestville Fire Department, Inc.
