Russo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rilesandwoolleyfuneralhome.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Russo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-271\" title=\"Russo\" src=\"https:\/\/rilesandwoolleyfuneralhome.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Russo-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>FORESTVILLE:\u00a0 Joseph &#8220;JoJo&#8221; C. Russo, 45, of Hanover Road, Forestville, passed away at his residence after a long battle with cancer, Saturday, July 14th, with his devoted wife, Cindy, by his side.\u00a0 He was born in Dunkirk, on August 14, 1966, the son of Rosemary (Scarlata) Russo, of Silver Creek and the late Anthony\u00a0 F. Russo, Sr.<\/p>\n<p>Joe was a graduate of Fredonia Central School, Class of 1985 and worked as a Bus Driver for Carrier Coach, Inc., Gowanda.\u00a0 He was an active member of the Irving Volunteer Fire Department, until his illness took over. He was also a past member of the Silver Creek Volunteer Fire Department and Emergency Squad.\u00a0 Joe was once very active with Silver Creek Little League, where once again his love to help was exceeded.\u00a0 He was an avid Yankee&#8217;s and NASCAR fan and enjoyed building models.\u00a0 Joe&#8217;s teasing ways &amp; sense of humor will be sadly missed by many friends, relatives, aunts, uncles &amp; cousins.\u00a0 He also enjoyed the company of his faithful companion &#8220;Sarge.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Surviving besides his mother are his devoted wife Cynthia A. (DeJaiffe) Russo, of Forestville, whom he married February 16, 2001, in Silver Creek, by a daughter, Kristy Taft of Forestville, two sisters, Tammie Bund, of Silver Creek, Tonya Russo, of Irving, two brothers, James (JoEllen) Russo, of Silver Creek, Anthony &#8220;Tony&#8221; Russo, Jr., of Naples, FL and stepmother Jane Russo of Fredonia.\u00a0 Joe loved children, and his many nieces, nephews, &amp; great nieces &amp; nephews will always remember Uncle JoJo and his teasing ways.\u00a0 Besides his father he was predeceased by his Paternal Grandparents Joseph C. &amp; Cruciana (Latona) Russo, Sr. and Maternal Grandparents Charles S. &amp; Vivian (Stephens) Scarlata.<\/p>\n<p>There will be no visitation observed.\u00a0 Memorial Services will be held Wednesday morning, August 1, 2012, from the Silver Creek Firemen&#8217;s Club, Jackson Street, Silver Creek at 11 o&#8217;clock, with Rev.
