Libby, 78, of King Road, Forestville, died Thursday, January 19th, 2023 at his residence, following a short illness.&nbsp; He was born in the Village of Silver Creek, on August 11, 1944, the son of the late Burton and Lila (Clement) Libby.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; He worked as a Packer for the former Carriage House, Fredonia.&nbsp; Gifford also worked for the Carnation Milk Plant in South Dayton, Cherry Creek Woodcraft and Waterman&#8217;s Farm in Forestville.&nbsp; He loved doing farm work.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; Survivors include his wife Michell M. (Inman) Libby, whom he married on August 17, 1997, in the Town of Hanover, a son, Charles Bart Libby, of Forestville; four sisters, Diane (Brian) Bobseine, of Gowanda; Nancy Work, of Angola; Kathy (Gerd) Tabak, of South Dayton; Becky (Tom) Kuhs, of Perrysburg; three brothers, Wayne (Leah) Libby, Larry Libby, and Terry (Althea) Libby, all of Forestville.&nbsp; Also surviving are several nieces &amp; nephews.&nbsp; Besides his parents he was predeceased by a sister-in-law Tina Libby.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; Arrangements are by Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, Forestville.&nbsp; To post condolences or memories go to www.rilesandwoolleyfuneralhome.com.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FORESTVILLE:&nbsp; Gifford B.
