Kerr, 89, of Maple Street, South Dayton, passed away Friday, January 13th, 2023 at UPMC Chautauqua WCA Hospital, Jamestown, following a brief illness surrounded by his girls &amp; son.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; He was born in the Village of South Dayton on August 23, 1933, the son of the late Adolph and Neva (Van Cise) Kerr.&nbsp; He was the founder &amp; former owner of Kerr&#8217;s Custom Butchering, South Dayton.&nbsp; Carl learned the meat cutting trade at the former Ingersoll &amp; Miller in South Dayton and he worked for the former Carnation Company in South Dayton.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; He was a past master &amp; district deputy of Chautauqua County, current member of Hanover Masonic Lodge #152 F&amp;AM, Forestville, Sylvan Lodge #303, Jamestown district deputy in Cattaraugus County and staff officer, member of Hamilton Fort #2 Order of the Amaranth- holding various offices including Rural Patron &amp; Grand Sentinel, member of the Royal Arch Masons and the Jamestown Consistory.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; Survivors include three daughters, Sue (Mike) McCadams, of McKenzie, TN; Jay Lee (Joe) Robinson, of Forestville; Julie (Steve Foster) Kerr, of South Dayton and two sons Ricky Kerr, and Scott (Heather) Kerr, both of South Dayton.&nbsp; Also surviving are twelve grandchildren; Melody, Cheryl &amp; Jeremy Kerr, Stephanie McCadams Smith &amp; Megan McCadams Yates, Andrew &amp; Tiffany Kerr, Derek, Dylan &amp; Deven Robinson, Ryan &amp; Robbie Clutter, twelve great grandchildren, and companion Karen Thompson of Jamestown.&nbsp; Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Lorna (Scheskey) Kerr, whom he married on August 28, 1954 and who died November 25, 2021, a grandson Steven Kerr and a brother Albert Kerr.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday morning, January 21st at 11 o&#8217;clock from Mount Moriah Masonic Lodge #145, 3485 Baker Street, Jamestown, with Rev. Robert Lewis and Rev.
