Cope, 37, of Mayfair Court, Cheektowaga, died Sunday, January 1st, 2023 as the result of a motor vehicle accident, at the Erie County Medical Center.&nbsp; He was born in Dunkirk on April 28, 1985, the son of Renee (Andrew) Hartloff-Kohler, of Forestville and Michael (Kerry) Cope, of Fredonia.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; He graduated from Baran Institute of Technology in Connecticut and worked as a Pipe Fitter for U.A. Plumbers &amp; Steamfitters Local #22, West Seneca, for 3 years.&nbsp; Adam previously worked for Gowanda Harley Davidson, R.L. Hartloff Building Movers, Cope Builders, Dunkirk Specialty Metals and the Village of Fredonia DPW.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; He was a member of Zoar Valley H.O.G., was an organ donor and a former member of Hanover Hose Co. #1 as an interior firefighter.&nbsp; Adam loved his video games, playing Pokemon cards with his son, racing dirt bikes, riding motorcycles, snowmobiling &amp; hunting.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; Besides his parents he is survived by a son, Gage Cope, of Fredonia; a brother, Eric (Mandy Becker) Cope, of Blasdell; two sisters, Bethany (Jackson) Bennett, of Westin, FL; Brittany (Nathan Mekus) Cope, of Cheektowaga.&nbsp; Also surviving are his paternal grandmother Irene Cope of Fredonia, a niece &amp; nephew Frances &amp; Oliver Cope, godfather Robert Hartloff, Jr. and uncles, aunts &amp; cousins.&nbsp; He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Robert L. &amp; Darlene (Harrison) Hartloff, Sr., his paternal grandfather Walter Cope and a brother Alex S. Cope.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; Friends are welcome to call at Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville this evening from 7-9 PM and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, from where Funeral Services will be held Friday morning at 11 o&#8217;clock, with Rev.
