Saller, 75, of Dunkirk, passed away Friday, August 26th, 2022 at his residence following a short illness.&nbsp; Michael was born in Los Angeles, CA on February 13, 1947, the son of the late Edwin R. and Mary I. (McCage) Saller.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; He was a graduate of Gardena High School, Gardena, CA, Class of 1966 and worked as a Welder for Paducah Marine Ways, Paducah, KY, for 12 years.&nbsp; Michael previously worked as a letter carrier for the US Postal Service in California for approximately 5 years.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; He was a military history buff, especially the Civil War &amp; World War II.&nbsp; Michael&#8217;s favorite places to visit were Gettysburg and Antietam.&nbsp; He also enjoyed building models.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; Survivors include a brother, Steven (Rose) Saller, Sr., of Forestville, one niece Lisa (Jim) Schichtel, two nephews Steven (Kelly) Saller, Jr., Robert (Amelia) Saller and ten grandnieces &amp; nephews.&nbsp; Besides his parents he was predeceased by three infant brothers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; Friends are welcome to call at Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Friday from 12 noon to 2 PM from where Funeral Services will follow at 2 o&#8217;clock.&nbsp; Interment will follow in Villenova Cemetery, Town of Villenova.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; The family suggests memorials may be made either to Chautauqua Hospice &amp; Palliative Care, 20 W.
