RAMONA, CA:  Loretta Lee Pedrico, 83, of Poco Way, Ramona, CA, formerly of Forestville, passed away Thursday, March 10th, 2022 at her residence.  She was born in Forestville, on August 26, 1938, the daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Press) Hilliker.<\/p>\n

  Loretta was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1956, attended San Diego State University to become a Music Teacher and received her CNA training in Fredonia.  She worked as a Certified Nurse’s Aid for the former Kelly Health Care, Dunkirk, for 7 years.  Loretta also worked as a Telephone Operator and a waitress.  At the age of 13, she performed on the piano at the White House in Washington DC.  Loretta also taught piano lessons to many students.  She was an extremely talented pianist, loved animals & raised Irish Setters for 5 years and Schnauzer’s for 15 years.  Loretta enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and playing music.<\/p>\n

  Survivors include two daughters, Vida (Steve) Philbrick and Elena (John) Luellen, both of Ramona, CA, a son Brett Pedrico of Pennsylvania, two sisters, Doris (Richard) Ward, Winona (Steve) Peters, and a brother, Marvin (Grace) Hilliker, all of Forestville.  Also surviving are five grandchildren, several nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews.  Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Juan Pedrico, whom she married on May 10, 1960 in Las Vegas, Nevada and who died Sept. 2, 2006.<\/p>\n

  Friends are welcome to call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.  Funeral Services will be held Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock from St. Peter\u2019s Anglican Church, Park Street, Forestville with Vincent Coppola, priest officiating.  Interment will follow in West Perrysburg Cemetery, Town of Perrysburg.<\/p>\n

  The family suggests memorials may be made either to American Cancer Society, 13 Beech Street, Johnson City, NY 13790 or NAMI Buffalo & Erie County, PO Box 146, Buffalo, NY 14223.<\/p>\n
