Kuzora, 91, of Main Street, Forestville, passed away Saturday, February 19th, 2022 at Chautauqua Nursing &amp; Rehab Center, Dunkirk, following a lengthy illness.&nbsp; She was born in the Town of Hanover, on January 20, 1931, the daughter of the late Truman and Edith (Congdon) Ferry.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; She was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1948.&nbsp; Betty owned &amp; operated the former Collector&#8217;s Corners on Main Street in Forestville.&nbsp; She previously owned the former Forestville Variety Store and worked for Jim Cave in the original Caves store, both on Main Street.&nbsp; Betty was a member of J. Carter Knapp American Legion Post #953, Forestville Ladies Auxiliary.&nbsp; She enjoyed going to yard sales, collecting antique glassware and dishes, watching the Buffalo Bills &amp; Buffalo Sabres, playing Bingo &amp; going to the casinos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; She was the loving mother of Leonard H. (Virginia) Kuzora, of Fredonia; and Brenda Reinermann, of Kemp, TX. and loving grandmother of Kelly (Jonathan) Halvorsen and Keith (Dorothy) Kuzora.&nbsp; Also surviving is a brother in law Major Williams of Alabama, a great granddaughter Harper Kuzora and several nieces &amp; nephews.&nbsp; Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Leonard L. &#8220;Hank&#8221; Kuzora, whom she married on July 2, 1949 in the Forestville Baptist Church and who died May 9, 2019, two brothers Lyle &amp; Richard Ferry and a sister Sharon Williams.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; Friends are welcome to call at Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM from where Funeral Services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 o&#8217;clock with Rev. Darlene Meeder, pastor of the Forestville United Methodist Church, officiating.&nbsp; Interment will follow in the Forestville Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Forestville Fire Department, Inc.
