PERRYSBURG: Harold Hilts, 87, of Peck Hill Road, Perrysburg, formerly of Alleghany Road, Silver Creek, died Saturday, February 6th, 2021 at his residence. He was born in North Tonawanda, NY on January 26, 1934, the son of the late Loren and Muriel (Joy) Hilts.<\/p>\n
Harold enjoyed collecting cars of all styles, his favorite was his collection of Red Cars. One of his great enjoyments was ice cream, of which his favorite flavor was vanilla. Harold enjoyed visits from his brother Don and sister in law Joy. They would take him out for ice cream and Harold’s choice was always plain vanilla. Besides ice cream, his other favorite sweets were black licorice and chocolate bars. In his younger years, Harold loved the music from the 20’s & 30’s, his bother would play the piano and they would sing the verses together.<\/p>\n
Survivors include a sister in law Joy Hilts of Arlington, Texas, nieces & nephews and his WNYDDSO caregivers. Besides his parents and brother, he was predeceased by 2 sisters Marjorie & Rose Marie Hilts.<\/p>\n
Friends are welcome to call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Wednesday from 10:30-11, from where Funeral Services will be held at 11 o’clock, with Rev. Fred Holdridge, officiating. Private Interment will be in Acacia Park, North Tonawanda, NY.<\/p>\n
