Palmer, 84, of Creek Road, Forestville, died Thursday, December 17th, 2020 at the Chautauqua Nursing &amp; Rehab Center, Dunkirk, following a short illness.&nbsp; She was born in Arcade, on September 7, 1936, the daughter of the late Robert and Delsie (Parr) Frederickson.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; Virginia was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1954 and worked as a Transcriber for Dr. Steven Barnes in Silver Creek, for 40 years.&nbsp; She enjoyed spending time with her family.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; Survivors include her husband Lester B. Palmer of Forestville, whom she married on August 20, 1955, in Hanover Center, a daughter, Deborah Burgun, of Brocton; a son, Nathan (Susan) Palmer, of Forestville; four sisters, Irene (Earl) Blakely, of Irving; Anna Frederickson, of Silver Creek; Lucille Harmon, of Florida; Lois (David) Valentine, of Forestville; and three brothers, Roy Frederickson, of South Dayton; Donald Frederickson, of Irving; James Frederickson, of Forestville.&nbsp; Also surviving are four grandchildren; Kenneth (Kate) Burgun, Karen Brown, Lisa (Ben) Bates, Alex (Lindsay) Palmer, five great grandchildren; Korah Burgun, William &amp; Cooper Brown, Alaina &amp; Ty Bates and several nieces &amp; nephews.&nbsp; Besides her parents she was predeceased by a son-in-law David Burgun, who died December 21, 2017, a sister Mavis Bonkoske, and five brothers Marvin, Robert, Lyle, Ernest &amp; Harold Frederickson.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; Friends are welcome to call at Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Sunday from 2-6 PM.&nbsp; A Memorial Service will be held at a later date, time and place to be announced. Private Interment will be in Arkwright Summit Cemetery, Town of Arkwright.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; The family suggests memorials may be made either to the Balltown Cemetery Association, %Anna Frederickson, 85 Burgess Street, Silver Creek, NY 14136 or the Arkwright Summit Cemetery Association, 2070 Rt. 83, Forestville, NY 14062.
