Ecker"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>FORESTVILLE:&nbsp; Allen R. Ecker, 90, of North Hill Road, Forestville, died Wednesday, December 9th, 2020 at Heritage Green Rehab &amp; Skilled Nursing, Greenhurst, NY, following a short illness.&nbsp; He was born in the Town of Villenova, on October 15, 1930, the son of the late Merle and Florence (Straight) Ecker.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; Allen was a graduate of the former South Dayton High School, Class of 1948, served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War and was a Dairy Farmer in Forestville, most of his life.&nbsp; He enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, reading and watching movies.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; Survivors include a sister, Nancy (Mark) LaVere, of Frewsburg, a brother in law Russell Newton of Forestville and several nieces &amp; nephews.&nbsp; Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother Ken Ecker and a sister Susan Ecker Newton.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp; Services are private and at the convenience of family.
