Russell, 88, of Chapin Road, Silver Creek, died Sunday, October 27th, 2019 at his residence, following a lengthy illness.\u00a0 He was born in Roaring Spring, PA on March 9, 1931, the son of the late Cloyd and Pearl (Dilling) Russell.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Russell worked as a Tool &amp; Die Maker for the Ford Stamping Plant, Woodlawn, for 30 years.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include two daughters, Donna Merritt, of Forestville; Sally, (Gary) Valone, of Silver Creek; and a sister, Kathryn Dambeck, of Martinsburg, PA.\u00a0 also surviving are eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and several nieces &amp; nephews.\u00a0 Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Betty (Pheasant) Russell, whom he married on September 30, 1950 in Williamsburg, PA and who died December 18, 2002, a son Dennis Russell, grandson Brandon Valone, sister Margaret Waltz, twin brother Dewalt &#8220;Dave&#8221; Russell and brother Richard Russell.<\/p>\n<p>Friends are welcome to call at Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, from where Funeral Services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 o&#8217;clock with Rev. Michael Leamon, pastor of Christ Chapel Wesleyan Church, officiating.\u00a0 Private Interment will be in Sheridan Center Cemetery, Town of Sheridan.<\/p>\n<p>The family suggests memorials may be made either to Chautauqua Hospice &amp; Palliative Care, 20 W.
