Trank"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>FORESTVILLE:\u00a0 Kenneth J. Trank, 88, of Main Street, Forestville, died unexpectedly, Monday, October 14th, 2019 at TLC\/HN-Lake Shore Hospital, Irving.\u00a0 He was born in Buffalo, on March 20, 1931, the son of the late Kenneth L. and Edith (Lee) Trank.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Trank was a graduate of Hutch Tech High School and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.<\/p>\n<p>He worked as a Truck Driver for the former Dunkirk Ice Cream, and previously worked in Real Estate with his father, was a Mail Carrier for the Buffalo Postal Service and worked for Pepsi-Cola.\u00a0 Mr. Trank was a past member of the Dunkirk American Legion Post #62, enjoyed life, loved to laugh &amp; tell jokes.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include his loving companion of 18 years, Bonnie Miller of Forestville, two daughters, Barbara (Robert) Godios, Patty (John) Rejewski, a son, Robert (Dawn) Trank and a brother, Ronald Trank.\u00a0 Also surviving are several grandchildren &amp; great grandchildren.\u00a0 Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Coleen A. (Monroe) Trank, who died November 2, 1999, a son Jim Trank and a brother Raymond Trank.<\/p>\n<p>Friends are welcome to call at Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Sunday from 2-6 PM, from where Funeral Services will be held Monday morning at 11 o&#8217;clock, with Rev. Michael Pollock, pastor of Gage Chapel Community Church, officiating.\u00a0 Interment will follow in Forestville Cemetery, where Graveside Military services will be conducted by members of J.
