Szymanski, 63, of Ball Hill Road, Forestville, passed away Monday, July 8th, 2019 at Buffalo General Hospital, following a lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis.\u00a0 He was born in Gowanda, on November 28, 1955, the son of the late Major and Violet (Chzanowski) Szymanski.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Szymanski was a graduate of Pine Valley Central School, Class of 1973.\u00a0 He worked for South Dayton Super Duper, the former Curtice Burns, Comstock Foods &amp; Clifffstar Corporation before retiring due to ill health.<\/p>\n<p>He was known as &#8220;Bear&#8221; to his family &amp; friends, his favorite activity was the landscaping and upkeep of his property.\u00a0 Bear was a fan of the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres &amp; especially the New York Yankees.\u00a0 Survivors include two brothers, Bill (Debbie) Szymanski, of Forestville; Bob Szymanski, of Ashville a niece Jennifer (Steve Meadows) Szymanski and her four children.\u00a0 Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother Walter Szymanski.\u00a0 As per his request, there will be no visitation or services observed.\u00a0 The family suggests memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 100 College Parkway, Suite 280, Williamsville, NY 14221.\u00a0\u00a0 Arrangements are by Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, Forestville.\u00a0 To post condolences go to www.rilesandwoolleyfuneralhome.com.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FORESTVILLE:\u00a0 Richard P.
