Dingeldey, Jr."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SILVER CREEK:\u00a0 Leonard C. Dingeldey, Jr., 91, of Angell Road, Silver Creek, died Tuesday, November 20th, 2018 at Buffalo General Hospital, following a lengthy illness.\u00a0 He was born in Buffalo, on November 12, 1927, the son of the late Leonard C. and Estella (Kepner) Dingeldey, Sr.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Dingeldey served in the U.S. Army during WW II and worked as a Cleaner\/Custodian for Hamburg Central School District, for 20 years.\u00a0 He was a member of the Hamburg American Legion Post #527 and a former member of the Dunkirk Moose Lodge #89.\u00a0 Mr. Dingeledey enjoyed antique cars, scrapbooking and the Buffalo Bills.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include a son, Leonard Charles Dingeldey, III, of Blasdell; a daughter, Louise (Forrest) Pollock, of Blasdell; three step sons Patrick (Chris) Richmond, of North Carolina; Robert (Margie) Richmond, of Forestville; Fleury (Robin) Richmond, of Forestville;\u00a0 two step daughters, Jane Smith, of Tennessee; and Donna (Michael) Webber, of Cattaraugus.\u00a0 Also surviving are twenty three grandchildren, several great grandchildren &amp; great-great grandchildren and several nieces &amp; nephews.\u00a0 Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife Alice Schwartz, his second wife Eva (Whitford) Dingeldey, whom he married May 19, 1990 in Missouri and who died September 23, 2014, by an infant sister and his stepfather Edward Antweiler.<\/p>\n<p>A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, December 4th, 2018 at the South Dayton American Legion Post #1593, 4 Mill Street, South Dayton, at 1 o&#8217;clock.\u00a0 Private Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Forestville Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>The family suggests memorials may be made to the Charity of one&#8217;s choice.\u00a0 Arrangements are by Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, Forestville.\u00a0 To post condolences go to www.rilesandwoolleyfuneralhome.com.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/rilesandwoolleyfuneralhome.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Army.jpg\"><a href=\"https:\/\/rilesandwoolleyfuneralhome.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Usflag.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-942\" alt=\"Usflag\" src=\"https:\/\/rilesandwoolleyfuneralhome.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Usflag.gif\" width=\"102\" height=\"76\" \/><\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-941\" alt=\"Army\" src=\"https:\/\/rilesandwoolleyfuneralhome.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Army.jpg\" width=\"80\" height=\"79\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rilesandwoolleyfuneralhome.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Army.jpg 163w, https:\/\/rilesandwoolleyfuneralhome.com\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/Army-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 80px) 100vw, 80px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SILVER CREEK:\u00a0 Leonard C.
