Howard, 92, a resident of Gowanda Rehabilitation &amp; Nursing Center, Gowanda, formerly of Dye Road, Forestville, died Saturday, April 21st, 2018 at her residence. She was born in South Dayton, on April 8, 1926, the daughter of the late Claude and Myrtle (Crowell) Congdon.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Howard was a graduate of the former South Dayton High School, Class of 1943.\u00a0 She worked as a Dietary Aide for the former JN Adam Developmental Center, Perrysburg, for 16 years and she co-owned &amp; operated the family dairy &amp; beef farm on Dye Road.\u00a0 Mrs. Howard was a former member of TOPS Chapter #848, South Dayton and she enjoyed knitting, crocheting and her grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include a daughter, Brenda (Howard) Eaton, of Cattaraugus; three sons Kenneth (Nancy) Howard, of Forestville; Arthur (Roberta) Howard, of Silver Creek; Robert Howard, of Forestville; five sisters, Audrey Congdon, of East Aurora; Helen Lindberg, of Rochester; Marion Sticek, of Silver Creek; Doris Welch, of Silver Creek; Trish Weinaug, of Gowanda; and a brother, Bruce (Beverly) Congdon, of Alexander, NC. Also surviving are a sister-in-law Mary Congdon of Irving, 11 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren, 3 great-great-great grandchildren and several nieces &amp; nephews and great nieces &amp; nephews.\u00a0 Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Donald N. Howard, whom she married on December 15, 1944 in the Forestville Baptist Parsonage and who died September 2, 2005, 4 sisters Ruth Harley, Betty Till, Maude Abbey, Minnie Kelley, 3 brothers Earl &#8220;Hoot&#8221; Congdon, Curtis Congdon, Edgar &#8220;Pat&#8221; Congdon and a brother-in-law James Weinaug.<\/p>\n<p>Friends are welcome to call at Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM from where Funeral Services will be held Monday morning at 11 o&#8217;clock with Rev.
