Kulpa, 70, of Hanover Road, Silver Creek, died suddenly, Monday, January 30th, at TLC\/HN-Lake Shore Hospital, Irving.\u00a0 He was born in Dunkirk, on May 10, 1941, the son of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Lawrie) Kulpa.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Kulpa was a graduate of Silver Creek Central School, Class of 1959 and a graduate of the former Dunkirk Industrial School.\u00a0 He served in the U.S. Navy from 1959-1963 as an Aviation Structural Mechanic.\u00a0 Mr. Kulpa worked as a Truck Driver for the former Path Trucking, Dunkirk and also owned &amp; operated a grape farm on Hanover Road, Silver Creek.\u00a0 He at one time worked for the former Hanover Gas &amp; Oil Well Company and the former Dawley Well Drilling.\u00a0 Mr. Kulpa was a life member of Sheridan Memorial VFW Post #6390, member of Growers Co-op, Westfield and the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #89, Dunkirk.\u00a0 He enjoyed fishing &amp; hunting and used to shoot trap for Tyler Excavation at the Hanover Fish &amp; Game Club.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include two sons Christopher (Stacey) Kulpa, of Fredonia, Colin (Cheryl) Kulpa, of Gowanda, three daughters, Jacqueline (Dennis Wilcox) Kulpa, of Silver Creek, Cynthia (Steven) Lawrie, of Dunkirk and Brenda (Jeffrey) Leone, of Fredonia.\u00a0 Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.\u00a0 Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Joan (Pattison) Kulpa, whom he married July 6, 1975 in Sheridan and who died Sept. 25, 2010, a son Michael Kulpa and a brother Henry &#8220;Barney&#8221; Kulpa.<\/p>\n<p>Friends are welcome to call at the Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Saturday morning from 9-11 o&#8217;clock, from where a Memorial Service will be follow at 11 o&#8217;clock, with Rev. Bruce M.
