DUNKIRK:\u00a0 Catherine “Casey” M. Fabritius, 88, a resident of Chautauqua Nursing & Rehab Center, Dunkirk, died, Friday, January 5th, 2018 at her residence.\u00a0 She was born in Dunkirk, on March 6, 1929, the daughter of the late John Clayton and Ruth Sarah (Higgs) Cleland.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Fabritius was a graduate of Cassadaga Valley High School, Class of 1946 and worked as an Office Manager for the former Meister Contracting Company, Dunkirk, for 18 years.\u00a0 She was a life member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and enjoyed collecting antiques & traveling.<\/p>\n
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Knight, of Fredonia; a son, Richard (Rebecca) Armella, of Fredonia; and a sister, Helen Larson, of Sinclairville.\u00a0 Also surviving are 2 grandchildren: Vincent Armella and Claire (Davon) Ottey, 2 great grandchildren: Mason & Adrienne Ottey and several nieces & nephews.\u00a0 Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband James P. Fabritius, who died October 11, 2002 and a brother-in-law Alvin Larson.<\/p>\n
Friends are welcome to call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Wednesday from 2-4 PM, from where Funeral Services will follow at 4 o\u2019clock, with Rev. Alan Jones, nephew of the deceased, officiating.\u00a0 Private Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Evergreen Cemetery, Sinclairville.<\/p>\n
