Strawser, 67, of W. Sheridan Road, Dunkirk, passed away Saturday, September 23rd, 2017, at his residence.\u00a0 He was born in Dunkirk on July 10, 1950, the son of the late Joseph F. and Jeanne (Sprissler) Strawser, Jr.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Strawser was a graduate of Fredonia High School.\u00a0 He worked as a Deputy Highway Superintendent for the Town of Sheridan, for 26 years, retiring in August 2012. Mr. Strawser also owned &amp; operated Shady Willow Grape Farm in the Town of Sheridan.\u00a0 He was a member of St. John&#8217;s United Church of Christ, Dunkirk and was a member of the Grape Growers Co-op of Westfield.\u00a0 Mr. Strawser enjoyed farming, growing grapes and spending time with his grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include his wife, Kathryn E. (Brown) Strawser, of Sheridan, whom he married in 1983, a son, Matthew J. (Kathryn M.) Strawser, of Orchard Park; a daughter, Laura (James) Blasdell, of Forestville; a brother Roger (Mary) Strawser, of Dunkirk, three sisters, Donna (John M.) Shephard, of Fredonia; KathyJo (John) Hryvniak, of Spencerport; and Kelly (Joseph) Osborne, of Panama.\u00a0 Also surviving are 3 grandchildren Owen Strawser, Adaline &amp; Aiden Blasdell and several nieces &amp; nephews.\u00a0 Besides his parents he was predeceased by an uncle Donald Strawser.<\/p>\n<p>Friends are welcome to call at Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Friday from 2-4 &amp; 7-9 PM, from where Funeral Services will be held Saturday morning at 11 o&#8217;clock, with Rev.
