Mosher, 90, of Pearl Street, Forestville, died Friday, May 26th, 2017 at his residence, following a lengthy illness with his family by his side.\u00a0 He was born in Randolph, on January 2, 1927, the son of the late Neil and Nettie (Weaver) Mosher.<\/p>\n<p>He served in the U.S. Navy as a Seaman 1st Class in the Pacific Theater during WW II, receiving the Victory Medal, American Theatre Medal and Asiatic Pacific Medal-2 stars.\u00a0 Mr. Mosher worked as a Machinist at Moog, Inc. East Aurora, for 32 years, retiring in Feb. 1989. He also worked for Riles &amp; Woolley, Forestville from 1993-2012.\u00a0 Mr. Mosher was a member &amp; Sr. Warden of St. Peter&#8217;s Christian Church, Forestville, a member, past Commander &amp; membership chairman of J. Carter Knapp American Legion Post #953, Forestville, member of Samuel Cimino VFW Post #6472, Silver Creek, the Pioneer Social Club, Forestville and the Sheridan Happy Seniors.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include a daughter, Paula K. Joy, of Forestville, 3 grandchildren Jeniffer Joy of Forestville, Joseph (Angie) Joy of Irving, Richard Joy of Fredonia, 3 great grandchildren Brandi Pryll, Rachel Pryll, Nevaeh Joy, 3 honorary great grandchildren Aidan Mancuso, Matthew Ciminella, Michael Ciminella, companion Berdella Warner, special niece Jo-Ann Siragusa and dear family pet &#8220;Baby&#8221;.\u00a0 Also surviving are several nieces &amp; nephews.\u00a0 Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Dorothy (Clark) Mosher, who died July 12, 1992, 4 sisters Clarice Warren, Pearl Siragusa, Lois Bigelow and Mildred Mabry, by 2 brothers Duane &amp; Roger Mosher, by a great grandson Thomas Joseph Joy and a grandson-in-law Brenner Pryll.<\/p>\n<p>Friends are welcome to call at Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, from where Funeral Services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 o&#8217;clock, with Rev. Patrick White, priest of St. Peter&#8217;s Christian Church, officiating.\u00a0 Interment will follow in Forestville Cemetery.\u00a0 Military graveside services will be conducted by members of J. Carter Knapp American Legion Post #953, Forestville.<\/p>\n<p>The family suggests memorials may be made to J.
