Hilliker, 86, of Versailles Road, Irving, died Monday, November 21st, 2016 at VA WNY Healthcare System, Buffalo, following a lengthy illness.\u00a0 He was born in the Town of Hanover on August 23, 1930, the son of the late Howard W. and Carmie (Pratt) Hilliker.<\/p>\n<p>He attended Forestville Central School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.\u00a0 He worked as an Equipment Operator for the Operating Engineers Local #17 Lake View, for 10 years retiring in 1993. He was also a member of Local #66 Operating Engineers, Pittsburgh, PA and a self-employed Logger for 20 years.\u00a0 Mr. Hilliker was a member of the Cherry Creek Assembly of God Church and a Life Member of Samuel Cimino VFW Post #6472, Silver Creek.\u00a0 He enjoyed hunting, fishing &amp; reading.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include his wife Eleanor (Ortel) Hilliker of Irving, whom he married on June 12, 1954 in the North Collins Congregational Church, a daughter, Susan (Billy) Huffer, of Williamsville; two sons Neil J. (Judy) Hilliker, of Silver Creek; Jeffrey (Colean) Hilliker, of Taylorsville, NC, three brothers, Ernest J. (Thelma) Hilliker, of Silver Creek; Carl (Connie) Hilliker, of Scottsdale, AZ; and David Hilliker, of Phoenix, AZ.\u00a0 Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces &amp; nephews.\u00a0 Besides his parents he was predeceased by 3 brothers Howard A. &#8220;Bite&#8221; Hilliker, Allen G. Hilliker and Park Hilliker.<\/p>\n<p>There will be no visitation observed.\u00a0 A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, December 6th at 1 pm from Christ Chapel Wesleyan Church, 60 Buffalo Street, Silver Creek, with Rev.
