Sullivan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>FORESTVILLE:\u00a0 Daniel J. Sullivan, 65, of Bradigan Road, Forestville, formerly of Ione &amp; Seattle, Washington, died Wednesday, April 20th, 2016 at his residence, following a short battle with cancer.\u00a0 He was born in Ione, WA in 1950, the son of the late Leonard and Maxine (Lake) Sullivan.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Sullivan served in the U.S. Army and received the Meritorius Service Medal as site chief, Liebenau Radio Station, 518th Signal Company.\u00a0 He worked as a Senior Project Manager for Nortel Networks, Inc. Richardson, TX, for 20 years, where he received several awards and recognitions.\u00a0 Mr. Sullivan also worked as part of their Global Network Team.\u00a0 After working for Nortel, he continued working in the Telecommunications Industry as a Private Contractor.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Sullivan was a member of J. Carter Knapp American Legion Post #953, Forestville and a former member of the American Legion in Ione, WA.\u00a0 He was a vocal supporter of the American Constitution, 2nd Amendment and Freedom of Speech &#8220;Molon Labe&#8221;.\u00a0 He enjoyed long distance motorcycle riding, traveling &amp; sailing.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include his wife Michele (Coppola) Sullivan of Forestville, whom he married December 29, 1998 in Seattle, WA, two daughters, Kim (Charles) Douvia, of Tukwila, WA; Megan Sullivan, of Forestville; a son, Jason (Christie) Sullivan, of Frisco, TX; three brothers, David (Janet) Sullivan, Dennis (Melanie) Sullivan, both of Ione, WA and Donald (Janet) Sullivan, of Metaline, WA.\u00a0 Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces &amp; nephews.<\/p>\n<p>A Memorial Service will be held Saturday afternoon, April 30th at 3 o&#8217;clock from Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville, with Rev. Patrick White, officiating, followed by a Military Service conducted by members of J.
