Hafner, 81, of Main Street, Forestville, died Tuesday, March 29th, 2016 at St. Vincent Health Center, Erie, PA, following a short illness.\u00a0 He was born in North Collins, on July 4, 1934, the son of the late William C. and Elsie M. (Fuller) Hafner.<\/p>\n<p>He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a Custodian for Forestville Central School, for 25 years.\u00a0 At one time he also worked for the former Canning Factory in Silver Creek and the former Five Star Cleaners.\u00a0 Mr. Hafner enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren &amp; great grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include his wife Shirley\u00a0 (Homan) Hafner of Dunkirk, whom he married in 1956, two sons Wayne (Donna) Hafner, of Buffalo; William Hafner, of Forestville; two daughters, Sally Hafner, of Dunkirk; Helen (Brian McClean) Hafner, of Fredonia; a brother, Thomas (Rose) Hafner, of Brocton and a sister, Lulu Kohler, of Forestville.\u00a0 Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces &amp; nephews.\u00a0 Besides his parents he was predeceased by 2 daughters Elsie and Allison Hafner, 4 sisters Helen Skelly, Dolly Fuller, Louise Mattice, Lorraine Kelly and 2 infant brothers Roger &amp; William Hafner.<\/p>\n<p>Friends may call at Riles &amp; Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Friday, from 2-4 &amp; 7-9 pm, from where Funeral Services will be held Saturday, morning at 11 o&#8217;clock with Rev. Donald Carlson, officiating.\u00a0 Interment will follow in Forestville Cemetery, where Military Graveside Services will be conducted by members of J.
