Obituary Notice- Grace E. Hall

FORESTVILLE:  Grace E. Hall, 88, of Henry Road, Forestville, died Saturday, February 7th, 2015 at Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, following a short illness.  She was born in New Brunswick, NJ on April 20, 1926, the daughter of the late Harold and Margaret (Marconi) Weaver.

Mrs. Hall was a graduate of the former South Dayton High School, Class of 1944 and worked as an Elementary Cafeteria Worker for Forestville Central School, for 29 years.  She was the secretary for the former Abbey’s Ladies Aide and was a correspondent for the former Grape Belt Newspaper.  Mrs. Hall was an avid bird watcher, enjoyed crocheting, gardening, reading & watching sports.

Survivors include two sons Kenneth (Pam) Hall, of Prescott, AZ, James (Gerri) Hall, of Forestville, a daughter, Virginia (Leonard) Kuzora, of Fredonia, a brother, Harold (Betty) Weaver, of Belfast, NY and a sister, Rosina Volkoff, of Rushford, NY.  Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces & nephews.  Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Orren N. Hall, whom she married January 13, 1945 in South Dayton and who died Oct. 25, 2001, a daughter Linda Swanson, 1 brother Elbert Weaver and 3 sisters Anna Jane Kruppner, Helen Northrup & Amy Murray.

Friends are welcome to call at the Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Tuesday from 3-5 & 7-9 pm, from where Funeral Services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock, with Rev. James D. Hankey, pastor of the Forestville United Methodist Church, officiating.  Private Interment will follow in Forestville Cemetery.
