SILVER CREEK:  Lorrie L. Cloud, 46, of Lake Road, Silver Creek, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, died Wednesday, May 8th, at her residence, following a short illness.  She was born in Dunkirk, on November 8, 1966, the daughter of Barbara (White) Schulenberg, of Silver Creek and the late Maurice Cloud.

She graduated from Forestville Central School, Class of 1986 and attended ECC on a volleyball scholarship.  She worked at Seneca Niagara Casino, Niagara Falls, NY, for 10 years.  Ms. Cloud was an avid sports player & sports fan.

Surviving besides her mother are two brothers, Doug Cloud, of Lackawanna and Andy Cloud, of Atlanta, GA.  Also surviving are several cousins, aunts, uncles, special friend Terry Hans, former husband Art Jimerson and former mother-in-law Maxine Jimerson.  Besides her father she was predeceased by her stepfather Thomas Schulenberg.

Friends are welcome to call at the Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm from where Funeral Services will be held Saturday morning at 11 o’clock, with Rev. Michael Stitzel, pastor of the Forestville Baptist Church, officiating.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Lawn Cemetery, Town of Hanover.

    Lorrie was a friend from Wednesday night bowling. Always friendly and funny, she was everyone’s cheerleader. She’ll be missed terribly. Many prayers to family and friends.

    Tears flowed when I saw the news of Lorrie’s passing today. When I first met her nearly 30 years ago, I can recall being struck with her warm heart, kind & loving soul, sunny disposition and happy smile that would light up the room. Whenever I’d bump into her, there was never a time that I saw her in a bad mood. I feel fortunate to have crossed paths with her in this lifetime…she was a person that I will never forget. Rest in peace, Lorrie.

    God Lor, I’m so mad at you!! I too have amazing happy and fun memories with Lorrie, I’m sure God has his arms wrapped tightly around her (he will need to keep them tight to keep her still).     I can’t imagine the grief you have felt with Lorrie’s passing. It is unthinkable to lose a child at any age. Sorry that I have just learned of this great tragedy but know that my heart is with you as you go through the year without her.
