Indian Lake Estates, FL:  Barbara L. Mosher, 78, of Avocado Drive, Indian Lake Estates, FL, formerly of South Dayton, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, September 24th, 2019 in the Town of Leon, NY.  She was born in Dansville, NY on October 23, 1940, the daughter of the late Chester and Bernice (Butcher) Miller.

Mrs. Mosher worked as a Secretary/Treasurer for Harry Austin Milling, Inc., South Dayton, NY, for 56 years.  She was a member of the Collins Draft Horse Club and the American Haflinger’s Association.  Mrs. Mosher enjoyed camping, making crafts and golfing.

Survivors include two sons Michael Mosher, of Thousand Oaks, CA; Mark (Anita) Mosher, of Conewango Valley; a daughter, Karla (Scott) Gilbert, of Medina, OH; and a sister, Pamela (Gary) Ackley, of Leon.  Also surviving are seven grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.  Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Kenneth R. Mosher, whom she married in Cattaraugus on August 27, 1960 and who died March 25, 2018 and by a daughter Kazan Mosher.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the South Dayton Hotel, Pine Street, South Dayton on Sunday, September 29th at 1:30 pm.  Private Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Villenova Cemetery.  The family suggests memorials may be made to American Haflinger Fund %Carolyn Sutton, Treasurer of Fund, 2031 Fixler Road, Medina, OH 44256.

    Our hearts are broken for the passing of such a great one. I have only gotten to know her this summer and was looking forward to our long friendship What a classy person she was in the little time I was with her. We had the pleasure of meeting your mom and dad many years ago at our Blueberry Farm,through Pam and Gary, here in Ontario, Canada. We also shared a love of horses and the joys of farm life.
