MasonBGERRY:  Bernice G. Mason, 88, a resident of Heritage Village Rehab & Skilled Nursing Facility, Gerry, formerly of Mile Strip Road, South Dayton, died Saturday, July 1st, 2017 her residence.

She was born in the Town of Villenova, on December 27, 1928, the daughter of the late Roland and Lillian (Hart) Libby.  She worked as a Bus Driver for Pine Valley Central School, South Dayton, for 22 years.

Survivors include three daughters, Pamela (James) VanVlack, of Seaford, DE; Karen “Bunny” (Craig) Hopkins, of Sheridan; Debra Vasquez, of Ormond Beach, FL; and a son, Ronald (Caprice) Mason, of Gerry.  Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren,1 great-great grandchild and several nieces & nephews.  Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband James W. Mason, who died August 15, 1995, a twin brother Albert Libby, 3 brothers Burton Libby, Charles Bond, Francis Bond and a sister Marjorie Spears.

There will be no visitation observed.  Funeral Services are private and at the convenience of family. Interment will be in Smith Mills Cemetery, Town of Hanover.
