HannahBFORESTVILLE:  Blanche A. Hannah, 76, of Bennett State Road, Forestville, died Tuesday, March 29th, 2016 at TLC/HN-Lake Shore Hospital, Irving, following a lengthy illness.  She was born in Buffalo, on May 31, 1939, the daughter of the late Phillip and Jane (Rzepniak) Pawlak.

Mrs. Hannah was a graduate of South Park High School, Class of 1957 as Valedictorian.  At one time she worked for New Era Cap in Derby.  Mrs. Hannah was a long time member of St. Rose of Lima RC Church, Forestville, where she helped start the Meal of Mercy.

Survivors include her husband, William H. Hannah of Forestville, whom she married November 15, 1957, in Buffalo, three sons William J. (Diane) Hannah, of Shreveport, LA; Thomas (Bernadette) Hannah, of Elmira and Robert Hannah, of Fredonia.  Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  Besides her parents she was predeceased by a son John H. Hannah, who died November 13, 2015 and a sister Delores Wanat.

Friends may call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Sunday, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm from where Prayer Services will be held Monday morning at 9:30 am followed by A Mass of Christian Burial from St. Rose of Lima RC Church, Center Street, Forestville, at 10 o’clock with Rev. Daniel F. Fiebelkorn, pastor officiating.  Interment will follow in Pioneer Cemetery, Forestville.
